Delete your data

The only data we keep about you is a log entry for each keyword comment we answered: comment ID, Instagram username, reel ID, keyword, time and whether the message was sent. It is deleted automatically after 90 days. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

How to ask

1. From the Instagram account the data is about, send a direct message to @thedebugduo with the text DELETE MY DATA.
2. We delete every log entry linked to your username and comment IDs within 30 days, usually much sooner.
3. We confirm by replying to your message, with the date of deletion.

We ask you to write from the same account so that nobody can delete or request someone else's data.

What you can do yourself

• Delete your comment on our reel from Instagram. We stop processing it.
• Delete our message from your Instagram inbox.
• If you removed our app's access in Instagram's settings (Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites), that only applies if you connected it yourself; commenting does not connect any app to your account.

Data held by Instagram

Comments and messages themselves are stored by Instagram (Meta). To manage or delete that data, use Instagram's tools or see the Instagram Privacy Policy.
